Training Seminars
With our unparalleled experience of Narda ELF & RF safety equipment we are able to provide a range of RF safety training seminars. We are an Institution of Engineering and Technology Endorsed Training Provider.
Who should attend?
If you climb communications towers, build base stations or radar, work in medical physics or semiconductor wafer fab, work with RF heat sealers or microwave ovens these seminars are for you. Basically if you work with RF or microwave systems in virtually any industry we offer something of interest to you.
Where?
Seminars can be held at virtually any location equipped with basic presentation aids. Courses for up to 20 people can be held in-house at Link Microtek.
Duration?
The length of each course depends on the required content but a typical RF safety awareness course is around half a day and can be combined with a measurement techniques session to make a full day. More detailed survey training can be over two days including site visits.
What will be covered?
Course content is flexible but typical topics include:
Basic principles of electromagnetic energy
Biological effects
National & International safety guidelines (including details on the EMF Directive)
Typical Hazards
Measurement Equipment
Measurement Techniques
Our courses in the UK form the first line in RF safety awareness, for more detailed measurement 'survey' training, three-day courses are held at Narda in the U.S.
